In 2015, I got certified and taught in Argentina. I did so through a TEFL program located in Argentina. A lot of programs will be in the country that you decide to choose, that way you can immerse yourself in the culture before you go out and teach in it.
However, that is not required and there are a lot of programs that are now online. Certification questions are for another site. Here on TEFL Planet, I will provide you with mini-guides to each destination and provide an overview, salary information, and expected cost of living. There are even some job tips and pros and cons gathered from other teachers all over the world!
